ZZ Top to Celebrate Turning 50 on Tour

Legendary rockers ZZ Top have just announced plans to tour across the UK and Europe during the summer of 2019.

The trio consisting of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard have announced only three shows so far, but will make further announcements as dates are added in due course.

The dates for the band as it stands start at Prague Rocks on June 19th, the Barcelona Rock Fest on July 5th, and then London’s SSE Arena Wembley on July 12th. Tickets for the London show will be on sale as of November 16th at 10am GMT. Also, for the London date, Jimmy Barnes will be the support act.

The tour marks the bands 50th anniversary, and as Billy Gibbons explains: “It’s been 50 years, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good! We’re just as excited to play Barcelona this summer as we were to play Beaumont, Texas, back in 1969.

“The beards are, perhaps, a bit longer, but nothing much else has changed and we hope to keep it that way.”

Once the full tour is in place, ZZ Top are expected to play in a dozen countries over a four-week period.

Check out the list of dates as they stand below:
