Zakk Wylde And Buddy Guy Lead The Experience

For those of you that just can’t get enough Jimi Hendrix, have we got news for you! Zakk Wylde, former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist, and blues legend, Buddy Guy will lead the lineup for the annual Experience Hendrix Tour, which will take place early next year.

Although Hendrix passed away in 1970, his legacy just gets bigger and bigger, and this tour, which celebrates his life and music, will no doubt play to full houses every night.hen sq

Since its early days, when it was known as the Jimi Hendrix Guitar Festival at Bumbershoot in 1995, the tour has gone from strength to strength, and the line ups have gotten stronger every year.

This year’s incredible line up will also feature the likes of Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Dweezil Zappa. Add to that, bassist Billy Cox, who played for both the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Band of Gypsies; Stevie Ray Vaughan; and Double Trouble’s drummer, Chris Layton; you’ve got an all star bill not to be missed.

For the North American run of dates, the Experience Hendrix Tour will add some very special guests including Keb’ Mo’, Doyle Bramhall II, Ana Popovic and the Slide Brothers. And with more artists still to be announced, it’s going to be must for all music fans.

Rocker Zakk Wylde said of the upcoming dates, “It’s an honor to celebrate Jimi Hendrix’s legacy and greatness with so many other amazing players, who have become great friends and family to me. His influence and inspiration will forever be undeniable!”
