Wilderness Festival Releases It’s Lineup To Date

-

This year’s Wilderness Festival 2016 headline acts have been announced, and topping the bill are The Flaming Lips and ex-Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant.

Known for an over-the-top stage show, The Flaming Lips will most likely performfest sq the band’s The Soft Bulletin album in full at the festival.

When asked about the festival, Robert Plant said: “In recent times The Space Shifters and I have found a natural home for our music in beautiful places that often carry their own unique resonance… I know the Wilderness Festival is one of those places and I’m really looking forward to summoning our madness there…”

Wilderness Festival runs through August 4th to the 7th in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire. Some of the other acts to have been announced for the bill are: Glass Animals, Crystal Fighters, Rosie Lowe, Shura, Tourist, Goldie, Parov Stellar, Lianne La Havas, Matt Corby, Andrew Weatherall, and Jackmaster.

Not just your run of the mill music fest, Wilderness Festival, which returns for it’s sixth year, will also feature a diverse range of other attractions as well as great music! There will be great food with Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc OBE serving up a banquet feast, and the program of events will include talks, debates, family magic, games theatre and much more.
