Van Halen’s “Jump” Get’s An EDM Remix

Van Halen’s “Jump” has had a spring cleaning by EDM DJ/remixer/producer Armin Van Buuren. The track kicks off pretty sparse with singer David Lee Roth’s voice out there in the open, but as with most EDM style remixes, the track begins to build till the four on the floor style drums come crashing in to take the track home.

Van Buuren unveiled his remix earlier this year while performing his DJ set on the Ultra Music Festival’s main stage, and unannounced, he was joined on stage by David Lee Roth. “Jump” has been Van Halen’s biggest song to date and took the No. 1 slot onBillboard’s Hot 100. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame consider the track as one of the “500 Songs That Shaped Rock And Roll.”
