The Stones Release Wild Horses Duet With Florence Welch


Setting up for the release of their new compilation album Honk, The Rolling Stones have uploaded a video of their performance of Wild Horses, shot during their No Filter shows at London’s Olympic Park last summer.

Onstage with the band and duetting with Jagger is Florence And The Machine’s singer Florence Welch, and the track will be included on the upcoming album.

Set for release on April 19th, the compilation album will feature tracks from every album the band recorded during 1971 – 2016, and as a bonus the 3CD edition will also feature a bonus of 10 live tracks that include Dead Flowers, recorded with Brad Paisley in Philadelphia in 2013 and Bitch, featuring Dave Grohl, recorded on the Stones’ 50 And Counting tour.

The press release says: “Honk collects 36 essential Stones tracks – including eight top 10 singles, Brown SugarTumbling DiceAngieIt’s Only Rock’N’Roll (But I Like It)Fool To CryMiss YouEmotional Rescue and Start Me Up.

“Bringing the band’s story up to date, Honk also contains hit single Doom & Gloom from 2012, as well as Just Your FoolRide ‘Em On Down and Hate To See You Go from the band’s 2016’s Grammy Award-winning, no.1 album, Blue & Lonesome.”

Next month sees the Stone heading out on their latest US tour and prior to that the band are working away at their new studio album.
