When it comes to one of rocks hardest working bands, the beginning of this year hasn’t been exactly easy. German rock legends The Scorpions had quite the time of it in Australia. First of all, their tour down-under was off and on because of the wildfires that were raging, and then singer Klaus Meine, revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove kidney stones and had to cancel shows.
As to when the band will hit the road again, well, the Coronavirus has put a stop to anything in the near future but the band is set to hit Las Vegas for a nine-show headlining residency show starting July 4th at Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort. The show is called Sin City Nights and it will have special guests Queensrÿche along for the ride. Ticket prices start at $40.
So till then, for all of you craving one of Germany’s greatest exports, we’ve got the band’s full Rock in Rio concert from 2019 to help ease the pain.
