The Prodigy Reach Out To Those Battling Mental Health

With the tragic death of frontman Keith Flint, The Prodigy has reached out to those in need by making a statement that encourages those who are battling mental issues or illness to reach out and find the help they need.

The remaining members of the band put up the following on Instagram: “It has been a tough time for everyone over the last few weeks since Keef’s passing,” adding: “If you are struggling with depression, addiction or the impact of suicide, please do not suffer in silence.”

They also added: “The Prodigy fully support the campaign to improve mental health for all and give it the respect it deserves,” along with the statement they included a list links to mental health resources in the U.K.

Keith Flint died in March this year at age 49. His death has been ruled a suicide.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In the U.S., the number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is 1-800-273-8255.
