For those of us that a looking for some Foo Fighter action, our prayers have been answered. The band has announced that they will be will playing from Atlanta’s Atlantic Station the night before this year’s Super Bowl, and we can see the gig streamed live as part of “DirecTV’s Super Saturday Night” on Feb. 2nd.

The band has also released a pretty funny promo video for the event. Dave and the boys play members of a fictitious NFL team called the San Fernando Jackalopes, and shows the Foo’s preparing for a game. The video was written and directed by Grohl, and he stars as player Larry Butz.

So, how do we get to see the show? Well, if you got tickets to the show, good on ya, but for those fans that didn’t snag one of the 3,000 tickets that were made available for purchase, you can tune in to DirecTV’s Twitter page, the Audience Network (available only through DirecTV and AT&T) or you can catch it on DirecTV Now.
