Suede Sign Up To Play Free Primavera Sound Pre-Shows

The Primavera Sound Festival has recently announced a series of free live shows as a warm up the main festival. These pre-festival shows will include performances by Suede and The Black Lips.

Primavera Sound, which runs from June 1st–5th in Barcelona, Spain, has announced Primavera Al Raval, a series of 70+ free gigs and concert events at various locations during the week leading up to the main event.suede sq

The lineup for Primavera Al Raval is pretty impressive to say the least. Besides Suede and The Black Lips, other performances include Bradford Cox, Deradoorian, Parquet Courts, Ty Segall and the Muggers, Julien Baker, Alex G, Mudhoney, Jessy Lanza, White Fence, Suuns, Empress Of, and Psychic TV (aka PTV3). With more bands signing up all of time, these gigs are very tasty indeed.

For the main Primavera Sound Festival, the wonderful Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, and PJ Harvey have all been announced as the headliners. A press release from Primavera stated that not only will Radiohead be performing at the festival, but that the headliners will perform the band’s soon to be released follow-up to 2011’s The King of Limbs.

Some of the other impressive names on the bill include: Beach House, Brian Wilson (performing ‘Pet Sounds’), Dinosaur Jr, Deerhunter, Titus Andronicus, John Carpenter, Pusha T, Neon Indian, Ty Segall And The Muggers, Julia Holter, Savages, Air, Action Bronson, Vince Staples, Explosions in the Sky, Downtown Boys, Moderat, Drive Like Jehu, Chairlift, Kamasi Washington.
