It seems like a week doesn’t pass without some kind of controversy in the Slipknot camp, this time it’s within the band itself. Percussionist Chris Fehn is reportedly suing the band.
This latest row is over a payment dispute between Fehn and the band.
In a report by The Blast, Fehn has accused his bandmates of funneling money by setting up separate business entities in various states and then themselves without paying the other members of the band.
Fehn was originally told that all the bands profits from the sales of merchandise and touring had been collected and deposited into one main company, which would then distribute a payment to each member.
Fehn has specifically mentioned front-man Corey Taylor in the lawsuit along with percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan.
Taylor didn’t mess around with his response, via Twitter he said: “You’re gonna read a lot of bull**** today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT. Long Live The Knot.”
Fehn has been with Slipknot since 1998 and has performed on all of the band’s albums.
You’re gonna read a lot of bullshit today. This is all I’ll say. JUST YOU WAIT TIL THE TRUTH COMES OUT.
Long Live The Knot.
