The event will also feature a live performance of the ‘Twin Peaks’ soundtrack conducted by long term Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti as well as lectures by actor Mel Brooks, architect Frank Gehry and Blondie musicians Debbie Harry and Chris Stein.

Lynch himself is also due to give lectures about transcendental meditation and showcase an exhibit of his own personal photography.

In recent years Lynch has taken somewhat of a sabbatical from his filmmaking duties to focus on his art and music careers. His last feature length film was 2006’s ‘Inland Empire’, but fans will be pleased to know that the director has finally finished filming the long awaited third season of cult classic TV show ‘Twin Peaks’ which is expected sometime in 2017.
