This year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals already have a first-rate lineup with Foals, Disclosure, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining; and now you can add Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy to the annual August Bank Holiday weekend fests. (August 26 – 28th)
Alt rockers Fall Out Boy bring their set of pop punk anthems back to the festival for the first time since 2013. The band triggered one of the biggest crowds in festival history on its last outing, so expect more of the same when the band hits the stage on the final night of both festivals.
With a new album in the making, rockers Biffy Clyro are true Reading & Leeds originals. Rising steadily up the bill over the years, the band will bring to the stage their full-on show and top-notch songs that have launched them toward the top as one of the best festival acts around the globe.
Festival organiser Melvin Benn said of this year’s events: “This year really is a big one for Reading and Leeds. Five headliners across three days – it’s a first for us and the UK Festival scene.
“We’re always looking to give Reading and Leeds fans something new and this year isn’t going to disappoint. Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy are going to be incredible.”
With a huge roster of bands including The Vaccines, Haim, Die Antwoord, The Wombats, Lower Than Atlantis, Chvrches, Jack Garratt, Netsky, Sleeping With Sirens, ASAP Rocky, Skindred, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Five Finger Death Punch, this year’s festivals look to be as good as any we have seen before.
