Radiohead Is…Back

-

After deleting all signs of an internet presence over the weekend, Radiohead has uploaded two short video clips to the new Radiohead Instagram page and has shared it on radiohead.com, Facebook, and Twitter. These teaser videos look to be a possible track listing for the band’s upcoming album. The first video is of a Claymation bird…”Dawn Chorus” perhaps? The second video clip is a Claymation video of a woman tied to a tree while men with masks surround her…”Burn The Witch”? Both videos include audio, with the witch video clearly playing Radiohead chords. According to fans on Reddit and other social media platforms, the bird video comes and goes.

While we wait to see what happens next this is what we know: Radiohead begins touring this month; the band formed a new company last October, Dawn Chorus LLP; and another one in February, Dawnchoruss Ltd.—Radiohead formed new companies before the release of their last two albums In Rainbows and The King of Limbs; cryptic notes were sent in the post to fans in the UK over the weekend, and now the video snippets via a new Instagram page.

We will have to hold tight to see what the band releases next. We are just happy we didn’t have to wait too long to see Radiohead back on social media.

Update May 3 2:07 EST: We now see that the first two were snippets of the first track “Burn the Witch”, which Radiohead has now released. The single can be purchased through links on the Radiohead website. Watch “Burn The Witch” here.

Other hints inlcude:

Back in 2006, Radiohead teased fans with a teaser for a song called, “Burn The Witch”:
