Queen To Re-Release Bohemian Rhapsody

It’s hard to believe, but the classic queen track, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is about to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Because of this, the band has something extra special planned for its fans: re-releasing the track to coincide with this year’s Record Store Day.q sq

This special release, which will be available from November 27th, will feature the song released as a 12 inch limited edition vinyl that will include the single’s original B-side, “I’m In Love With My Car”, which featured drummer Roger Taylor on lead vocals.

Earlier last week, the band and “Bohemian Rhapsody” received the Classic Song Award at the Q Awards. The song’s official release date was on Halloween, October 31st. But what’s truly ‘Halloween spooky,’ is that the iconic track was released way back in 1975 and yet it still stands up today!

Also in Queen news, a week prior to Record Store Day the band will release a fantastic live package from the same era. Queen, A Night At The Odeon, Live At Hammersmith ’75 is set to be released in multiple formats including CD, 2 LP vinyl, Super Deluxe Box Sets, DVD and SD Blu-Ray.

A must for all Queen fans, A Night At The Odeon was filmed at the band’s final date of the Queen Invite You To A Night At The Opera UK tour. As an added piece of trivia, this was also the very first tour to feature the band performing “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
