Prodigy For Snowbombing

Okay folks, summer has faded, here we are in fall, and then, BAM, before you know it’s hit you, we’ll be right smack bang in the middle of winter.PROD SQ

As if to prove the point, the world’s No.1 music festival on snow, Snowbombing has released phase one of its outstanding 2016 bill featuring some killer DJs and more than impressive live acts. The opening list is a ravers dream, with The Prodigy, Andy C, Jungle, Netsky, Oliver Heldens, Groove Armada (DJ set), Hannah Wants, and Wilkinson (DJ set) confirmed for the impressive line-up.

The headlining act for the 17th Snowbombing festival next April is the take no prisoners, “Smack My Bitch Up” hell-raisers, The Prodigy. Freezing cold or not, the band is sure to light a fire at the event, and is known for its hardcore, jaw-dropping performances. Be warned, the rave masters have vowed to take this year’s Snowbombing to another level.

And if that’s not enough electro for you, then the announcement that award-winning drum and bass pioneer, turntablist, and producer Andy C, known for his trademark three decks, will also be in action. Now, that should tip the scale for you–phew!

Snowbombing will also add a lot of first timers to the bill including, Mercury Award nominee Jungle; the electro soul-funk duo J and T, with full live band, will join Belgian drum & bass producer Netsky. Plus, the festival will have Groove Armada cranking out one of its infamous DJ sets.

The 2000 capacity festival will be a welcome relief to the bitter cold of winter. With many, many more acts and attractions still to be announced, 2016 is shaping up to be the greatest Snowbombing ever.
