This summer Panorama, a one-of-a-kind celebration of music, art, and technology, is coming to the “Big Apple”–New York City.
Panorama is presented by the same group behind Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz Fest, and will rival The Governors Ball Music Festival as New York City’s major summer music fest. Panorama is set to feature a fantastic musical lineup featuring: Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Alabama Shakes, Sia and Run the Jewels. The festival will be held July 22-24 in Randall’s Island Park, NYC.
In addition to the excellent music on offer, the online magazine The Verge has partnered with Panorama to create Future Lab, which is an interactive, experiential installation that explores the possibilities of music and technology.
Future Lab was designed by renowned artists in collaboration with The Verge’s editors, and will showcase new technology in unconventional ways.
Passes will be on sale as of this Friday, March 4th at 12:00PM EST on the Panorama website. Prices start at $369 for general admission, and there are also VIP weekend packages available.
New York City’s other huge festival, the Governors Ball Music Fest, also has an all-star lineup that includes: Kanye West, The Strokes, Beck, The Killers and De La Soul, to name but a few.
It looks like New Yorkers and music fans alike will be spoilt for choice this coming summer; as a host of the world’s top music acts converge on the city that never sleeps.
