The Prince of Darkness has shown is a lighter side, Ozzy Osbourne has recently announced that proceeds from sales of his tour merch will go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, a charity that was set up by the Back To The Future actor who has lived with Parkinson’s disease since 1991.
On Ozzy’s eBay store there is plenty of items to snag, they include Ozzy and Sabbath shirts, hoodies, bags, hats, laminates, signed records, well, you name it, it seems to be there. Don’t believe me? There’s even a box of Black Sabbath confetti.
Ozzy took to Twitter and wrote: “Past tour’s exclusive merch last bits of remaining stock available until sold out!” adding: “April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month so 10% of all sales going directly to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.”
Ozzy knows all about the condition having revealed in January that he had also been diagnosed with Parkin-2, which is another form of Parkinson’s.
The rock legend won’t be held down though, he released his new album Ordinary Manin February and is set to head out on tour at the end of the year.
