If you’re missing Ozzy Osbourne during this summer’s festival and touring season, in fact, just missing him at all, we’ve got good news for you. His Highness the “Prince of Darkness” will be appearing in a new movie and he’ll be lending his voice to another slice of royalty, “King of Trolls.”
Ozzy will be lending his voice to the highly anticipated animated motion picture Trolls World Tour, which has been slated for release in April 2020.
This next installment is the continuation of DreamWorks’ successful Trolls franchise, and reprising their roles for the sequel will be Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake as Poppy and Branch.
The movies press release explains that the film’s plot will see the lead duo “discover Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock.”
This is where Ozzy’s character makes an entrance as the movie’s villain, King Thrash, leader of the rock trolls.
Together with his daughter, Queen Barb, (not Kelly Osbourne by the way), the king hopes to destroy all other types of music, leaving rock to reign supreme. Hurrah we all say at Rock My World…
As well as Ozzy, the heavyweight cast includes George Clinton, Kelly Clarkson, James Corden, Sam Rockwell and many more.
