New Jeff Beck Documentary Available From May 18th

Due to drop on May 18th, is a brand new documentary that will focus on the life and times of legendary guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck.

Available as a digital download, DVD and Blu-Ray, ‘Still on the Run: The Jeff Beck Story,’ takes a look at the guitarists incredible career that includes stints with The Yardbirds, the Jeff Beck Group, his work with numerous musicians, and of course, his albums and tours as a solo artist. Add to that his passion for classis cars, you’ve got a must see for fans of Beck and music alike.

The documentary shows Beck in very candid interviews recorded at his home, as well as interviews with the who’s who of the guitar world, that includes, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Ronnie Wood, Rod Stewart, and many more.

As for Jimmy Page, he talks about becoming good friends with Beck as teenagers, and how later on in life he ended up playing with him in The Yardbirds. Page says of Beck: “He developed a style that’s unique, and that’s pretty magical.” Coming from one of the guitar greats, this is high praise indeed.

For those who have yet to see the man in action, Beck will be teaming up with Ann Wilson from Heart, and Bad Company frontman, Paul Rodgers, for this summers, ‘the Stars Align Tour’, which starts July 18th in Utah, and runs through to August 26th, ending in Tampa, Florida.
