This album goes back to Henley’s Texas roots and takes us onto the next stage of his creative journey. For all of us Henley fans here at Rock My World the new tracks are sublime. Especially, “Take A Picture Of This”, which can’t help but remind us of the brilliance of his hit “The Heart of the Matter” taken from the 1999 album This Is The End Of The Innocence.

Cass County will be his first solo record since 2000′s Inside Job. It will be available in both a 12-song standard edition and a Deluxe edition that will include four bonus tracks. There will also be a Super Deluxe edition; this will include a 50-page book with exclusive photographs and postcards.

Don Henley will promote the album with a five-week tour of North America beginning in Phoenix, AZ on October 3. Shawn Colvin, no less, is the opening act. Ticket buyers will receive a copy of the deluxe edition CD.
