It looks as if fans of the band Heart will be waiting a little while longer for the Wilson sisters to reunite
and release new music. With both Nancy and Anne currently working on solo albums, a new Heart album looks to be wishful thinking at the moment.
That being said, there could be light at the end of the tunnel if you need your Heart fix. Nancy said in a recent interview that: “Heart has a nice offer to go on a tour next year, so [I’m] hoping [for that].”
The sisters are still close and Nancy revealed that she and Anne been in contact lately, mainly family stuff but she added that at some point in the near future, “We have to have the business conversation pretty soon.”
Until then, Roadcase Royale, Nancy Wilson’s current project, are out on the road with their first album, First Things First. Nancy has quite the line-up for the band, featuring keyboardist Chris Joyner, bassist Dan Rothchild and drummer Ben Smith from Heart, plus, Liv Warfield and guitar player, Ryan Waters from Prince’s New Power Generation. As Nancy herself put it: “they’re very amazing singers and players.”
As well as selected dates throughout this summer, Roadcase Royale is being tipped as the opening band for Bob Seger during his tour this fall.
