More Sabbath Coming Your Way

It seems we can’t get enough Black Sabbath. The metal gods have added a second leg to their North American farewell tour next year.

The new string of dates will take place in January and February of 2016. The band will also tour Australia and New Zealand in April, and will start their summer dates in Europe in June and July.

Reaffirming that this really is the band’s final tour ever, Ozzy told NOLA.com, “It’s the end of Sabbath, believe me. In December, I’ll be f–ckin’ 68 and I think it’s time to call it the end of the day. I’m not saying I won’t get on stage with Geezer [Butler] or Tony [Iommi] or any of them some time, but officially we’re going to be done.”

The band’s second stint on America’s north coast will hit the road on August 17th in Wantagh, NY at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and will conclude on September 21st in Phoenix, AZ at the AK-Chin Pavilion.

As reported by RMW in a previous post, Black Sabbath will be supported on their final world tour by the very highly acclaimed hard rockers, Rival Sons.
