Listen to Marilyn Manson’s Version of “Cry Little Sister”

He’s covered some classics in his time, and Marilyn Manson has added another to his macabre catalog.

Taken from the 1987 bloodsucking vampire tale, The Lost Boys, “Cry Little Sister,” which was the theme from the movie, has been remade and now has the classic Manson twist on it.

No stranger to recording cover versions, Manson has previously released versions of The Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love”

and even took on “God’s Gonna Cut You Down,” the track recorded by Johnny Cash.

As with all his other covers, Marilyn Manson’s stamp is all over “Cry Little Sister,” edgy, synth lead and crunching guitars are in full force.

So when do you get to hear it? Well, the track is set to be featured on the soundtrack to the many times delayed, X-Men movie, The New Mutants, which, if there are no more delays, will hit theaters in August 2019.

This isn’t the first re-record of “Cry Little Sister,” the track has been covered by a number of artists, including Aiden, L.A. Guns and Twisted Sisters Dee Snider.
