It’s hard to believe that Linkin Park’s debut album Hybrid Theory celebrated its 15th anniversary earlier this month. To celebrate this milestone, the band is about to launch a new apparel line called XVLP. Along the lines of the Pearl Jam apparel line, the band has collaborated with several clothing brands such as The Hundreds and BAPE.
Using the album’s original artwork as the inspiration for the line, the band said that the apparel will “re-imagine and re-interpret the classic artwork of [Linkin Park’s] debut album Hybrid Theory to create modern, limited-edition apparel pieces.”
The first batch of clothing from the XVLP collection will be available from tomorrow, November 3rd, and will be followed by new pieces debuting throughout the month of November.
The band will reach another milestone in the coming weeks when they play the 10th annual Relief Live, a benefit concert for the band’s very own Music for Relief charity organization.
Unfortunately for fans, the event, which will be held on November 14th in Los Angeles, has already sold-out, but all is not lost, fans can always enter for a chance to win VIP tickets and meet Linkin Park on the red carpet. Just log on to Prizeo.com and, as the headline on the site says, “Win a chance to get caked and hang with Steve Aoki and Linkin Park.” May the best man or woman win.
