Nu-Metal heroes Korn and Limp Bizkit have announced that they will be touring the UK together later this year. The bands will be co-headlining a number of shows around the UK in support of Korn’s upcoming studio album ‘The Serenity of Suffering‘.
Co-headline tours are always exciting, particularly when it’s two rock heavyweights like Korn and Limp Bizkit. Korn’s upcoming new record ‘The Serenity of Suffering’ comes out on October 21 via Roadrunner Records. It is to be the band’s twelfth feature length record and comes 22 years after their first record 1994’s ‘Korn’. You can pre-order it [x_button shape=”rounded” size=”mini” float=”none” href=”https://amzn.to/2cIrIRm” target=”blank” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover”]Here[/x_button] .
When asked if there were any differences between when the band were first starting out and now, lead singer Jonathan Davis stated: “It’s night and day.
“We’ve been together for 22 years and somehow it’s made me better. Some people paint, they write poetry or they go and beat the shit out of a punchbag. I do it with a pen and a microphone.
“If you listen to your soul, then we have dark and difficult things inside all of us, and I get mine out to help myself and hopefully help other people.”
Limp Bizkit’s last album was 2011’s ‘Gold Cobra‘, but like Korn, they too have a new record on the way, sort of. ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ has been in the works since 2012 and has so far spawned four singles titled ‘Lightz’, ‘Ready To Go’, ‘Thieves’ and ‘Endless Slaughter’ (‘Ready To Go’ memorably featured rapper Lil Wayne on vocals). Now, with news of the upcoming co-headline tour, fans are beginning to speculate whether ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ will be out before the year is through.
