British singer / songwriter Jamie T had revealed details about his upcoming fourth album. The album, entitled ‘Trick’ will be followed by a live tour of the UK commencing at the end of September.
Jamie T first came on the scene back in 2007 with his successful debut album ‘Panic Prevention’. The album spawned some huge hits in the UK including ‘Calm Down Dearest’, ‘If You Got The Money’ and standout track ‘Sheila’.
The crossover artist followed up with 2009’s ‘Kings & Queens’ which was certified gold in the UK, and 2014’s ‘Carry On The Grudge’ which peaked at number 4 in the official album charts.
His upcoming album ‘Trick’ is set to be released on September 2 and is preceded by new single ‘Tinfoil Boy’. His record label Virgin EMI have recently published a press release in which they described the album as: “the kind of brave and eclectic rock/punk/reggae/rap/pop celebration that only Jamie T could make”.
Tinfoil Boy is now available on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music.
The press release also stated that the album had been recorded in both London and Detroit.
Along with the album, Jamie T will be embarking on a full 18 date UK tour which will include three consecutive hometown shows at the Brixton Academy, London.
