I Prevail land the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart

-

Well, they’ve finally done it. Michigan’s I Prevail has finally landed the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart with their track “Hurricane.”

Landing their first No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Songs comes after six earlier entries onto the chart and comes on the back of two top 10s; their track “Alone” captured the No. 6 slot back in September 2017, and in August of last year their song “Breaking Down” reached the top 5 when it landed at No. 3.

I Prevail first came to prominence when they covered Taylor Swift’s track: “Blank Space,” which peaked at a respectable No. 23 on the Mainstream Rock chart in August 2015.

You can hear “Hurricane” on from I Prevail’s sophomore album Trauma, and is the band’s second single from the album.
