A recent Instagram post indicated that singer Paloma Faith is due to leave BBC One’s The Voice UK. The star said:
“Last night I went down with the ship power dressing in possibly my last foray into reality tv shows. I may not be built for them but I am definitely built for getting lost in music. Caught in a trap. No turning back. Hair @eamonnhughes make up @lanslondon styling @karl_willett nails @izabellebellamy `’
The final of The Voice UK is this Saturday, 9th April, so the money is on Faith seeing this series out, and then making a swift exit prior to the show’s move to ITV next season. This would be the latest setback for the show, which has seen its viewers’ ratings nosedive by 3.4 million from 2015.

Perhaps with new judges and a new network, we’ll see a rise in popularity for The Voice UK.
The rejection of Kevin Simm in last week’s semi-finals saw Paloma slammed on social media, yet it resulted in a shrewd move by seasoned judge Ricky Wilson. By saving Kevin from elimination, Wilson now has two candidates for the final. Ricky Wilson had already announced that this would be his last season, but who knows if a victory and large ITV pay cheque may sway his decision to stay….
