Greta Van Fleet Announce Release Date For Their Debut Album

It’s official. Young bloods Greta Van Fleet have announced the release of their highly awaited debut album: Anthem Of The Peaceful Army. Due for release on October 19th, the band have teased fans with another new track called, “Watching Over.”

Up till now the band have released two EP’s, both Black Smoke Rising and From The Fires, dropped last year, and since then the band have only released one song, their single When The Curtain Falls (which features on the album track listing), which was released last month.

The album follows in the footsteps of two EPs releases last year, Black Smoke Rising and From The Fires, and their single released last month “When The Curtain Falls” which we now know features on the album.

The band are currently on a US tour and have already started adding dates for later this year, these shows will include stops in North America, Japan, Europe and the UK.

The album’s released comes with news that the band are to be the first featured act to appear on Apple Music’s Up Next programme. The program sees artists using various media outlets to promote new material.

In a statement from the band, they say: “We are elated that Apple has named us its Up Next artist, especially as we are the first band to be given that honour,” Adding: “Apple Music has been very supportive of us from the beginning and we really appreciate this recognition.”
