Grateful Dead to Release ‘Fare Thee Well’

Attention all . The Grateful Dead is giving fans a chance to relive this summer’s sold out Fare Thee Well Tour. The “Core Four” original members, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir are planning to release music from this year’s tour on November 20th. We have the complete track listing for you to whet your appetite.

The album, titled, Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead will come in a number of different formats, including a “best-of” double-disc, which includes highlights from this year’s hugely successful three-night set at Chicago’s Soldier Field, to a 12-disc mega set that compiles every song from the band’s July 3, 4 and 5 performances.

For fans wanting to get their hands on this awesome set, the only place to get the complete audio and video for all three shows will be from the official Grateful Dead website.

The two dead.net exclusive versions, one 12-CD/7-Blu-ray and the other 12-CD/7-DVD, will each be limited to 20,000 individually numbered copies.

Dead & Company are currently rehearsing for its upcoming fall shows, so until those dates are released, Deadheads will have this wonderful collection to get them though until the band hits the road all over again.
