The Full Glastonbury Festival Lineup Announced

-

It’s finally here. The full lineup for this year’s Glastonbury Festival was announced yesterday.

The annual event will take place in Pilton, England, and will run from June 22nd till the 26th.

The headliners will be: Adele, Muse, and Coldplay; but the festival will also feature a heavyweight lineup for the weekend music fest including sets from: LCD Soundsystem, PJ Harvey, Beck, Grimes, New Order, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Dolly Parton, M83, James Blake, ZZ Top, Foals, Skepta, Savages, Stormzy, Floating Points, the Last Shadow Puppets, Vince Staples, Little Simz, Kamasi Washington, Kurt Vile, Bat for Lashes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mac DeMarco, and many more.

In honour of the late, great David Bowie, his headlining set from his 2000 appearance will also be screened in its entirety as a tribute to the star.

The festival’s lineup hasn’t gone down well with everyone, and some fans headed to twitter to show just how upset they are.

Adele responded to the criticism of her top billing in her true honest style by saying: “And to the people who say I am too boring to headline, you’re more f*#ing boring for moaning about me headlining.”
