Guitar giants Gibson, have announced that they have partnered with Amped Guitar for a fantastic giveaway, The duo is offering three free months of online guitar lessons during the COVD-19 lockdown period.
This follows on from a story we posted last week about Fender’s decision to give three free months of lessons on their Fender Play service.
The collaboration between Gibson’s charitable foundation, which is called Gibson Gives, Amped Guitar and musical instrument retailer Sweetwater, means that guitar players will be able to get premium access to the Amped app for a full three months after signing up. The offer gives you the chance to chose from hundreds of guitar lessons and gives you the option to play along to songs by The Beatles, Tom Petty, and B.B. King.
Gibson CEO James Curleigh outlined the giveaway: “In these unprecedented and uncertain times, we all could use a little inspiration for each other and for ourselves,” adding: “With Gibson Gives, Sweetwater and Amped, we are literally providing that inspiration and opportunity for anyone who loves music and has always wanted to learn to play guitar.”
