Getting the Band Back Together: Genesis Tour Announced

-

Genesis will reunite for a UK tour this autumn. That’s right! Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford are getting the band back together, minus Peter Gabriel.

The tour will begin on November 23rd in Liverpool and will be calling in on Newcastle, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.

The last time Genesis performed was in 2007 to mark the groups 40th anniversary. Since then it has been all quite on the Genesis front…until now.

According to Mike Rutherford, the band have only played 2 UK shows in the last 28 years, “We haven’t over-worked it,” he admits. This tour will be a rare opportunity for UK-based Genesis fans to catch (most of the) band in action. Tickets for ‘The Last Domino?’ tour will go on sale Friday, 6th March.

Genesis UK Tour Dates:

Nov. 23 – M&S Bank Arena – Liverpool, UK
Nov. 26 – Utilita Arena – Newcastle, UK
Nov. 29 – O2 Arena – London, UK
Nov. 30 – O2 Arena – London, UK
Dec. 02 – First Direct Arena – Leeds, UK
Dec. 05 – Arena Birmingham – Birmingham, UK
Dec. 08 – Manchester Arena – Manchester, UK
Dec. 11 – SSE Hydro – Glasgow, UK
