For those of you craving new Pearl Jam music, your wish has been granted. The lords of Seattle have released details of a chance to listen to the band’s spanking new album Gigaton two days ahead of its release in “immersive sound system” Dolby Atmos.
The band have launched The Gigaton Listening Experience, and this gift to fans will be taking place in more than 200 equipped theatres across the globe on March 25th. Playback of the album will be in Dolby Atmos. This immersive sound system is relatively new to new to the consumer market, so for Pearl Jam fans, this will be a fantastic opportunity to hear the band’s album in a totally new way.

Billed as a “one-night-only audio-visual event”, if the description of this playback event is anything to go by, it will be an experience to remember. The event includes an audio playback of the new album front to back, as well as “a choice set of visuals curated and created by Evolve. This was the filmmaker and artist behind the band’s video for their first single “Dance Of The Clairvoyants”.
The Gigaton Listening Experiencehappens just two days prior to the release of the band’s highly anticipated new album, Gigaton, which is set to drop on March 27th, 2020.
