Garbage Released Second Track From Forthcoming Sixth Album

-

As we get closer to the release of their new album, alt rockers Garbage have released a second track from their forthcoming sixth album Strange Little Birds due for release on June 10th via their own record label Stunvolume.

The band released the first single “Empty” from the new album in April. With the new single “Even Though Our Love Is Doomed”, it gives us a real indication of how the album is shaping up.GARB SQ

Singer Shirley Manson has said that the new album is “less fussed over” than anything Garbage have made before saying, “To me, this record has the most to do with the first record than any of the previous records. It’s getting back to that beginner’s headspace. In part, that’s a result of not having anyone to answer to.”

During a recent show, Manson made headlines for the wrong reasons after the singer suffered a fall during the band’s festival performance in LA.

Performing at KROQ Weenie Roast on May 14th, Manson stumbled off the stage during the set. Thankfully she was unhurt and managed to continue performing the song.

Taking to Facebook later that day, the band wrote of the incident: “So we got the first show of ‘Strange Little Birds’ [album cycle] under our belt yesterday. Could have been worse. Could have been better. There are always monsters to chase in dreams”.
