-

Adam Schlesinger, the singer of the band Fountains of Wayne is reportedly very sick and has been placed in a medically-induced coma as well as being on a ventilator with COVID-19 symptoms, this according to Deadline.

As of now, all that’s known about Schlesinger’s health is that it is bad enough that he be put on a ventilator but for how long has yet to be disclosed. With no statement yet from Schlesinger’s reps, it is unclear for how long and when Schlesinger started showing symptoms and contracted COVID-19.

Adam Schlesinger is 52-years-old and has been awarded three Emmys, a Grammy, and an Academy Award nomination for “That Thing That You Do,” which was the title track of the 1996 movie of the same name.

From all of us here at RMW, we wish Adam a speedy recovery.
