Former AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has made a move forward since leaving the band due to hearing problems.
The “Shook Me All Night Long” singer now has a new gig as an online radio host.
Johnson’s new gig is a show called The Producers that airs on the station Planet Rock.
Airing on Sunday and Wednesday nights, Johnson will be focusing his attention on notable rock music producers that include Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden/Journey/Aerosmith/ Joe Bonamassa), Bob Rock (Metallica/ Offspring/ The Cult/ Motley Crue), Roy Thomas Bake (Queen/ David Bowie/ Yes/ Guns N’ Roses), and Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters/ Marilyn Manson/ Deftones/ Duff McKagan).
Following his appointment as a DJ on the site, Johnson had the following to say: “Having been fortunate to work alongside some of the best producers in rock, it’s great to be part of this show with Planet Rock.
“To be able to shine a light on how a producer captures a moment in the studio and turns it into rock ‘n’ roll dynamite, is great. Being able to listen to these guys talk about what they do best is a joy.”
In Related AC/DC news, the band topped business magazine Forbes’ annual earning list for rock acts after making an estimated $67.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016.
