Foo Fighters Guitarist Chris Shiflett Previews Solo Album Material

Craving some new Foo Fighters material? Well, we’ve got something to tide you over before their new album drops. The band’s guitarist Chris Shiflett has uploaded the second song taken from his forthcoming solo album, “Hard Lessons.”

The new album is set for release on June 14th and this new upload features the track “Welcome To Your First Heartache” and follows on from Chris’ earlier release from the upcoming album “This ‘Ol World”.

On the album, Shiflett is joined by Dave Cobb, Chris Powell, Brian Allen, Michael Webb, Paul Franklin, and Kristen Rogers. And also features appearances from Elizabeth Cook and Laur ‘Little Joe’ Joamets.

Also, ahead of the release, each digital pre-order comes with an immediate download of “Welcome To Your First Heartache” as well as the album track “This Ol’ World.” Of the music, Rolling Stone praises, “…he fully brings the guitar-slinging pyrotechnics. A lick, a verse and a couple mean solos are all Shiflett needs to make a statement.”
