Festival’s Announce The Prodigy’s Replacements

In what seems like a natural conclusion, The Prodigy have decided to pull out of their scheduled festival appearances following the death of front-man Keith Flint.

In all there will be four festivals that the band has chosen to pull out of, all of the shows were being promoted by Danny Wimmer Presents.

The now-canceled dates are Jacksonville’s Welcome To Rockville on May 3rd, Rockingham’s Epicenter on May 10th, Columbus’ Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival on May 18th and Chicago Open Air Presents on May 19th.

The festival organizer and promoter Danny Wimmer has now shared the festivals’ replacements. For Welcome To Rockville and Epicenter, stepping in for the Prodigy will be the Crystal Method.

As for the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, Papa Roach will fill the slot. The band shared the news via social: “We’re honored to step in for our brothers in The Prodigy at Sonic Temple on Saturday night,” Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix added: “They are such an influential band for us. We’re gonna celebrate, it’s gonna be a great night. We love you guys and we can’t wait to see you out there.”
