Fans Are Invited To Line Keith Flint’s Funeral Procession

As we reported earlier in the month, front-man for the Prodigy, Keith Flint passed away at his London home aged 49. The outpouring from the band’s fans was as you could imagine, huge. Yesterday, via social media, the remaining members of the band reached out to fans to invite them to line Flint’s funeral procession route ahead of the March 29th memorial service.

The band shared the route for his procession and invited fans to come out and pay their final respects.

The Tweet said:“Fans are invited to line the procession route, starting at 3pm in Braintree, Essex on Fri 29th March, to pay their final respects & ‘raise the roof’ for Keef! If anyone wishes to lay flowers or tributes these should be sent to St Mary’s church in Bocking, no later than 2pm Friday”

In another, the band said: “The church service will just be for family and close friends, but there will be speakers relaying the ceremony outside the church for everyone to hear.”

As was expected, the band decided to cancel their up-coming dates that were scheduled, Jacksonville’s Welcome To Rockville on May 3rd, Rockingham’s Epicenter on May 10th, Columbus’ Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival on May 18th and Chicago Open Air Presents on May 19th.

The band also decided that they would be canceling their string of date in the US. They were originally due to play a short run of dates as well as the above-mentioned festivals.

Keith Flint passed away on March 11thand the coroners’ report has since confirmed Flint’s cause of death as suicide by hanging.
