Check out this story. So, you arrive in Vegas for a wild weekend, you’ve set up the booze and music in your room, you hit play and crank up the tunes. On your playlist, you’ve got some kickin Van Halen tunes and as your pumping the tunes out there’s a bang on the door. Now you always can expect the unexpected whilst in Vegas but can you imagine the surprise when the person banging on the door about the tunes being played in your room is none other than Van Halen’s singer himself, Dave Lee Roth.
David Lee Roth was in the city for the recent Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) music festival, where Dutch DJ and producer Armin van Buuren performed a set that included his EDM remix of the 1984 Van Halen classic, “Jump.”
As Dave was leaving his hotel for the gig with his team, he stopped by his neighbor who was cranking Van Halen to say hello. He said: “We heard some Van Halen here,” said the singer to the surprised party guest who answered the door. “My name’s David Lee Roth, and I’m right across the hallway.”
One of the room’s guest’s even apologized for the noise, which led to Roth to reply, “No, don’t.”
Only in Vegas!!! Check out video of Dave and the fans below:
