Rocker Courtney Love recently posted a playful video on her Instagram.
The singer appeared in a mini promo film for high-end English fashion line Burberry.
A fresh-faced Love can be seen dancing playfully around a set of stone white statues (designed by Thomas Merrett) with daughter Frances Bean Cobain at Burberry’s Makers House in London where the line’s 2016 fall runway show was held on September 19.
In regard to the inspiration gathered for Burberry’s current collection, the luxury fashion house took from the pages of Virginia Woolf’s novel Orlando and is currently holding an exhibit for it at Maker’s House (formerly Foyle’s bookshop) located in Soho, London, in partnership with The New Craftsmen, an institution created to work with specially chosen English craftsmakers “to showcase the materials, skills and craft products of the British Isles” (according to their website). Burberry has on display a number of media such as sculptures, patchwork, miniature portraiture, and textiles by a handful of greatly esteemed artists contributing their crafts to the inspiration of the line.
The exhibit runs from September 21st to 27th.
Love most recently appeared in a separate promotional video for fashion designer Marc Jacobs with Missy Elliot and St. Vincent. Love will also be featured in the designer’s 2016 ad campaign alongside goth shock rocker Marilyn Manson, supermodel Cara Delevingne, and English songwriter Genesis P-Orridge.
