Coldplay Share Fan-Made Video For ‘Amazing Day’

Coldplay Performs At The Rose BowlUK pop band Coldplay have shared a brand new video for their song ‘Amazing Day’. The video features a collection of different clips from around the world sent in by fans of the band, and was posted to Coldplay’s FaceBook profile yesterday (January 3).

Coldplay released their seventh studio album ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ in August 2015. The album has so far been supported by five singles including the huge hits ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ and ‘Hymn For The Weekend’, and has sold over a million units in the US.

As well as scoring some of their biggest hits to date, the band have also really stepped up their music video game (The ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ motion capture video being a great example of this). For their latest video, the band invited fans to upload footage to their instagram page on November 19 (the same day the band played the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai, India), asking that they “show us what was happening in your corner of the world.”

Within 24 hours the band had received thousands of submissions and now a compilation of clips has been merged into the brilliant new video for ‘Amazing Day’.
