Cheap Trick’s New Single “No Direction Home” Available

Cheap Trick is back! The band’s new single: “No Direction Home” taken from the band’s upcoming studio album, Bang Zoom Crazy…Hello, has been uploaded and is now streaming online at the Big Machine Label Group’s SoundCloud page.CHEAP SQ

In true Cheap Trick style, the track is a throwback to the band’s classic sound—catchy melody, big guitars, big chorus, and a classic Rick Nielson guitar solo.

Bang Zoom Crazy…Hello will be available as of April 1st. It will be available for pre-order starting on March 4th.

The record will be Cheap Trick’s first studio album since 2009’s The Latest. This will be the first to feature the band’s current drummer Daxx Nielsen, son of guitarist Rick Nielsen.

The timing of the album lines up perfectly with the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 8. As we told you in a previous post, the band will head out on the road with Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts for the “Rock Hall Three for All” summer tour.

In other Cheap Trick news, the AXS TV network will broadcast a concert special, Cheap Trick– Live from Red Rocks. The show will premiere this Sunday, January 24, at 8 p.m. ET. The concert, which was shot in high-definition, took place last June at Red Rock’s Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
