Bruce Springsteen Streams New Song “Hello Sunshine”

The Boss is back. Bruce Springsteen’s first new studio album in five years, Western Stars, will be released June 14th, and we have the lyric video for the first song to be released from the new effort, “Hello Sunshine.”

Bruce has described the new album as a throwback to his solo recordings, and that it will feature “character-driven songs and sweeping, cinematic orchestral arrangements,” and “Hello Sunshine,” with a shuffle feel, killer steel guitar, and beautiful string, arrangement delivers on that promise.

Recorded for the most part at Springsteen’s home studio in New Jersey, the new album is said to be inspired by the Southern California pop records of the 1960s and ’70s, Springsteen explained an interview when asked about the new album.

Western Stars is available for pre-order today, and check out the lyric video for “Hello Sunshine” below.
