Bono And Gallagher Rock The O2

-

They are two of rock’s biggest stars, and last night those same two stars shared the stage together at London’s O2 arena. U2 singer Bono welcomed ex-Oasis guitarist/ singer Noel Gallagher onto the stage during the U2 concert at The O2 in London last night (Oct 26th).

More than just a walk on part, U2’s Bono introduced the former Oasis guitarist as “one of my heroes.” High praise indeed from one of rock’s all time greats.

The ex-Oasis man played the acoustic guitar and sang backing vocals during the U2 classic “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”.

Check out the footage below, the performance shot by a member of last night’s audience has since been posted on YouTube.

The friendship between Bono and Gallagher is a long and close one. In fact, Gallagher is the inspiration for the U2 song “One Step Closer” from U2’s 2004 album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.

U2 will be back for another round of shows at The O2 on Thursday, Friday, Monday and next Tuesday.
