Alice In Chains Are Back

Well it took five years, but it was worth the wait. Alice In Chains have unleashed a new song ‘The One You Know, ‘ as well as video to the awaiting public.

Taken from the bands new, and sixth album, ‘The One You Know ‘ is the first track they have released since 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

Alice In Chains

With the new (as-yet-untitled) album immanent, founder/ guitarist Jerry Cantrell said to the press: “It’s a record we haven’t done yet, but it’s also a record that has all the elements of anything you would expect from us. It’s got our fingerprint. And we’re really proud of the material we wrote and the performances we captured. There’s some really heavy shit, some really ugly stuff, some really beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy shit… it’s good.”

The production and recording reins were handed over to Nick Raskulinecz, and the album was engineered by Paul Figueroa, who worked on the last two of Alice In Chains’ albums.

As of yet there is no official release date announced for the album, but you can catch the band on tour and check out the video for ‘The One You Know ‘bellow:
