Aerosmith Rocks

You can’t keep a good band down. Boston rock-gods, Aerosmith, will be releasing their latest latest concert video, Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014, on Friday, September 4. Check this out— we’ve found a way that fans can get a preview of this killer high-definition flick by heading over to RollingStone.com.

The website has posted an exclusive clip of the four-piece band bringing home a rocking performance of their classic track “Walk This Way”.

Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014, documents the band’s headlining concert from June of last year at the famed U.K. hard-rock festival, The Download Festival.

Guitarist, Joe Perry tells Rolling Stone “‘Walk This Way’ is a good representation of the DVD.” He added, “We felt like it was a memorable show and we’re glad we filmed it.  To us, playing Donington is always a special event and it was more a roll of the dice since we were filming it.  Happily our fans came out and most importantly, the energy was there between us and them. This clip is just a taste of the power of the whole DVD.”

You also can check out a trailer for Aerosmith Rocks Donington 2014 at the Eagle Rock official YouTube channel.

The video will be available for purchase as a DVD/two-CD set, a DVD/two-LP vinyl collection and a Blu-ray/two-CD package, as well as a digital download.

The festival has been held annually since 2003. It is the most popular British summer rock and heavy metal festival. For rock fans it has been a mecca of sorts with around 100,000 people descending on the venue for three days of music and entertainment. Donington has hosted some of the biggest names in rock and metal including, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Muse, Motörhead, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Kiss, Judas Priest, Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses.
