Maybe you couldn’t get a ticket, or maybe you’re just not able to make it out to the California desert, either way, Coachella is fast approaching. But check it out—that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on one of the festival circuit’s biggest events.
In conjunction with T-Mobile, music fans around the world now have the ability to tune into Coachella’s YouTube channel on April 15th -17th and catch a whole host of performances from both up-and-coming and emerging artists as well as the festival’s biggest headlining acts.
Coachella has also said that the live stream will be available on the YouTube Music app. Basically, wherever there is a screen and internet access, you’ll be able to tune in and watch this year’s events.
Taking it one step further, you’ll also be able to enhance your user experience with several new additional features to Coachella’s YouTube channel for this year’s festival:
Users will be able to tune into one of three live stream channels and a video-on-demand section will be available to catch up on the highlights and performances throughout the weekend. As well as the Youtube channel, you can also log in to CoachellaLive.com and watch to your heart’s content via your laptop, computer, Android phone, iOS phone, select game consoles, streaming media box, or via your smart TV.
You can even customize your live viewing experience. The live stream channel will intuitively change footage based on the artists & bands you pre-select.
Coachella’s YouTube Channel social feed will also incorporate exclusive highlights of artists from the festival, as well as interactive profiles of the bands and artists you have chosen to follow.
Not quite the same as being there, but Coachella is doing its utmost to make sure we get a taste of one of the best festivals in the world.
Check it out now to pre-select your bands.
