Queen Announce 2017 US Tour

iHeartRadio Music Festival - Day 1 - ShowRock legends Queen have announced that they will be embarking on a 25 date tour of North America commencing in June. The band will be once again joined by American Idol runner up Adam Lambert. Lambert has been performing with Queen since 2011.

Its been 40 years since Queen first performed together and still they remain one of the greatest live acts in the world. Although nobody can ever hope to replace original singer Freddie Mercury, Adam Lambert seems to have settled into his role as special guest lead singer and the band will certainly not be looking to replace him any time soon.

The upcoming 2017 tour begins in Phoenix, AZ on June 23 and will mark the fourth time Adam Lambert has fronted a feature length tour with the band. In an official press release, the band stated that they will not only be performing classic hits, but will also “debut a brand new show specially designed and created for this outing.”

Queen have not released a studio record since 1995’s ‘Made In Heaven’, and a number of fans are starting to feel that the inclusion of Adam Lambert may spark new interest in recording another album.
